Quizmaster Chris Retires
After a very successful run, Quizmaster Chris Campbell has to step down from Quizzo due to a new job. Congrats to Chris on the new job; we'll definitely miss him. His final Quizzo is tonight at 8pm.

Draft Beer Changes
Nothing kicks for two days, then the dominoes start to fall. Victory Scarlet Fire replaced Victory Mystery Ale. The consensus seems to be that it was Victory Harvest Ale. I still think it was their very limited ESB. I recall Victory's Harvest Ale being very golden this year, and the Mystery Ale was quite reddish. Scarlet Fire, a rauchbier aka smoked beer, is one of my personal favorites. Fire makes it good. I'll be having some tonight while hanging out for Chris's final Quizzo.

The always wonderful Dogfish Head Indian Brown Ale replaced Dock Street Fuggles Pale Ale. Indian Brown is one of those beers that doesn't get on tap here as often as it should. With all the new stuff that always around it's for the great everyday beers to get lost in the mix. We'll try to fix that for 2010.

The also always wonderful Sixpoint Righteous Ale replaced Manayunk Krooks Mill Pale Ale. This one that does get a bit of play here, and with good reason. We'll try to keep that going for 2010.

Expect more dominoes to fall.


Groundhog Day Hawaiian Shirt Beer Breakfast and Lucky Cat Day Beer Prognostication
Groundhog Day is less than month way and the details are starting to fall into place. Every Groundhog Day we open at 7am to catch Punxatowney Phil's Weather Prognostication. Then we make a morning of it. It's a very jolly time. The Groundhog Day page has been updated, and the updates will keep coming as we get closer to February 2nd. .
