Draft Beer News
Lost Abbey Carnevale replaced the sixtel of Dogfish Head Namaste. Carnevale is a saison. Saison is a style with a huge variety of interpretations. We expect this one to be full of flavor.
Great Divide Titan IPA replaced Ballast Point Sculpin. Great Divide is a Denver brewery that manages to keep squeezing more brewing capacity into their building. They need to keep adding capacity because they brew beers like this one. Their brewery is on the edge of downtown Denver, on the other side of the vast sea of surface parking lots. If you find yourself in Denver, it's worth a visit.
St. Patricks Day is over, but we scored another Sly Fox Seamus Irish Red anyway because 1) they had some left, and 2) it rocks no what day it is. It replaced Founders Dirty Bastard Scotch Ale.
New Beer Blog
Beer blogs are like craft breweries, there are too many, and we don't need anymore. We don't need anymore until another great one comes along. For breweries, Cigar City is a great example. For beer blogs, our buddy Steveo Hawk is a great example. He is now blogging at http://www.phillyburbs.com/blogs/beerhawk/ Steve has managed to find things that aren't on anyone else's radar. It's a great addition to the local beer blog scene. But we would expect nothing less from him.
