New Person
Steve, aka The Colonel (how the heck is that word pronounced kernel?) and his wife welcomed Lucy into the world on Saturday. Congratulations!
Draft Beer News
Dock Street Prince Myshkin Imperial Stout is back on tap replacing the sixtel of Allagash Grand Cru.
Ithaca Nut Brown replaced Sly Fox Seamus Irish Red. I'm not usually much for brown ales, but this sounds great "A delicate blend of chocolate malt, caramel malt, and four other malts brings to this beer a chocolatey sweetness, and hints of coffee. The malt character is subtly balanced with Northdown and Fuggles hops". And it's just under 5% ABV.
Sprecher Special Amber is back again replacing Southampton Biere de Mars. We have ordered this one at least three times at the request of Jim Josten. All three times, it kicked before I got around to trying any. This stuff moves. We another barrel coming into tomorrow too. Between these 31 gallons, I'm determined to have a pint.
As for our cider line, Woodchuck Pear Cider replaced Woodchuck Dark and Dry Cider.
