Merry Xmas in July!
The beers are tapped, well 3 out of 4, the 4th will be tapped at 6pm or sooner if Brotherly Suds kicks first.
Eric has 400 Christmas cookies, which will be free with any dinner purchase.
Draft Beer Update
Kicked: Russian River Pliny the Elder, Magic Hat Circus Boy, and Stoudts Brotherly Suds 2.
Tapped:
A sixtel of Great Lakes Christmas Ale. This is the Xmas beer that was in short supply for Xmas in December last year. We only have a sixtel of this, so it will be in short supply too for Xmas in July.
Sly Fox Xmas Ale. You know it; you love it. Sly Fox Christmas Ale has been a favorite here at the Grey Lodge since forever. At some point the rest of world discovered it too.
2010 Troegs Mad Elf. The legendary big Xmas beer from Troegs. This is another one that was a hit here at the G-Lodge for a while before the rest of the world took notice.
Long Trail Hibernator. This one is a Scottish Ale.
Abita Satsuma Harvest Wit. This is a Belgian style white ale brewed with satsuma. Yeah I didn't know what satsuma is either. Wikipedia tells us "The satsuma (Citrus unshiu) is a seedless and easy-peeling citrus mutant of Japanese origin introduced to the West." Like all Abita Harvest beers, this uses produce grown in Louisiana, which is where they are from, across the 20+ mile causeway bridge from New Orleans.
21st Amendment Hop Crisis. This is a highly sought after super hopped seasonal from the very hot 21st Amendment Brewery. It's only a sixtel, so it won't last long. We have cans too, which likely also won't last long. But hopheads fret not, we have a special double dry hopped Stone Ruination due up right after it.
