Draft Beer Update
Bear Republic APEX replaced Manayunk Black Eye PA. This is a double IPA that we haven't seen here in Philly before. Chez tells me it's great. It flew out of Hop Angel.

The last of Dock Street's summer saison series, Dock Street Wheat Saison , replaced Dock Street Belgian Cowboy Saison. It's a wheat saison. Imagine that.

Bruery Autumn Maple replaced Dogfish Head Punkin Ale. This one has been a real favorite the last two years. It's "the yam beer". It weighs in at 10% and is only a sixtel, so small pours only. We have two more Punkins to go on tap, and 3 set aside for the future.

Pennypack Park Concert Tonight
Weather permitting the last concert at Pennypack Park of the 2011 season is tonight. It was rescheduled due to the hurricane. It's a tribute to the British Invasion. Paul Revere will be sure to be warning the British that they aren’t gonna be takin’ away our arms, by ringing those bells, and makin' sure as he’s riding his horse through town to send those warning shots and bells that we are going to be sure and we are going to be free, and we are going to be armed.

It's free and starts at 7pm.
