Wow what a gorgeous day. I got to spend a little time outside before having come in to put many hours in at the windowless MGMT Bunker. While the weather is still amazing, why not take advantage of outside seating? When I finally get done work many hours from now, I will be out there with beer enjoying the night, so please save me a seat.
Draft Beer Update
Great Lakes Conways Irish Ale and Sly Fox Seamus Irish Red, the two Irish ambers tapped for St. Pat's both kicked.
Retapped is Boxcar Long Winters Night. This is a very hazy clementine IPA. It's quite interesting and unusual.
Freshly tapped is Lagunitas WTF. Those who used to IM regularly probably know what WTF stands for in that setting. For Lagunitas in their attempts to make the world more PG13, WTF stands for Wilco Tango Foxtrot. The usual replacement word for W is "whiskey", but that might have created labeling issues as this is not a whiskey barrel aged beer, so they went with Wilco which sounds really official if you didn't already know that Whiskey is the W replacement word. At this point, you probably saying to yourself "WTF when is this piker going to write about the beer?". WTF is "a big Ol’ Imperial Brown Ale to help you with your slipperly slide on into springtime. Rich, smooth, dangerous & chocolatey". ABV is a little under 8%.
