Draft Beer Update
Victory Prima Pils replaced Victory Braumeister Pils-Spalt Select. This is Victory's flagship pilsner. With all the amazing variety of beer Victory makes all year, we seldom find room to get this great beer on tap, so let's enjoy this happy moment while we can.
Elysian Avatar Jasmine IPA
replaced Elysian Prometheus Stolen Fire IPA. As its name implies, Avatar is an IPA brewed with jasmine. Very interesting (in a good way).
Sierra Nevada Southern Hemisphere replaced Boaks Two Blind Monks. Once a year every autumn, we get to enjoy beers beers brewed with hops picked fresh off the vine. Known as wet-hopped beers, these have a taste all their own. Due to our planet being round, there are two hop harvest times. Sierra Nevada loves wet-hopped beers so much that they fly hops from the hop farms in New Zealand direct to their brew kettles in Chico CA so that we and they can have fresh wet-hopped beers twice a year. With all that overnight airfare, this beer makes no economic sense, so enjoy it knowing you are getting a real bargain.
Dogfish Head Festina Peche replaced Cricket Hill East Coast Lager. Festina Peche is a very tasty Berliner weisse. Berliners are sour beers often balanced with fruit syrup. In this case, Dogfish Head uses peaches to balance the sour. It's a perfect match. Everyone who tries this one loves it. This one would go great with this week's talapia salad special. Everyone who had as the talapia salad special has loved that one too.
