Tomorrow is Inherit the Beer with Evolution Brewing. From 6 to 9pm, Evolution will be here with goodies. We'll have four Evolution beers on tap. Two have already made it on Evolution Sprung and Evolution Prelude Gold (sixtel).
Eric Louden recommended we try to get a Prelude Gold for the event, so we did. Prelude Gold is pretty much an English barley wine, which is quite different the darker US versions. Prelude replaced Free Will Black Friday Quad (sixtel).
Sprung, a spring seasonal, is a medium bodied golden ale brewed with honey, hibiscus and chamomile. Sounds very tasty. Hopefully the weather will be nice enough tomorrow to enjoy one of these outside in our sidewalk cafe. Sprung replaced Sierra Nevada Ovila Quad With Sugar Plums (sixtel).
It's taken longer than we expected but Victory Prima Pils is finally on, starting a string of four halves of pilsners in a row. Prima replaced Manayunk Biere de Mars.
The next two beers have only been on for a day but have been really jazzing people. They won't last long.
Yet another Troegs Nugget Nectar is making a brief appearance. This highly hopped amber ale has got what people want. It replaced Flying Fish Exit 16. We are expected to have at least two more Nugget Nectars arrive before it is gone for the season.
21st Amendment Hell or High Watermelon Wheat is also moving like mad. It replaced Sly Fox Royal Weisse. We are expecting more Hell or High Watermelon draft to arrive this month. In the meantime, we have 10 cases of cans.
