This Week at The Grey Lodge Pub

All Week: It's American Craft Beer Week and we will be joining DrinkNation to celebrate with a Happy Hour special. This week selectied 1/2 pints (almost all) will be just $2 from 5 to 7pm. (As of this writing, the info at the DrinkNation link for us is out of date. The beers listed didn't get tapped in time, so we came up with something better).

Tuesday as always is Taco Tuesday, with two new taco platters to choose from every week. And these are tacos done the right way... not that Ortega garbage.

The Lucky 13 Home Brew Club is scheduled to meet this Tuesday. Their meeting will be abbreviated and moved up to 7pm so they can head out and support our Philly Beer Geek nominee Mike Lawrence at the Semi Finals at Manayunk Brew Pub. Lucky 13 (and The Grey Lodge) will be at the Mayfair May Fair this Saturday. Details are a paragraph or two below.

Wednesday is Quizzo with Quizmaster Pete. As usual, Quizzo is at 8pm on our 2nd floor.

Saturday and Sunday as usual, we serve brunch from 10am to 3pm. Our regular menu is also available.


Saturday is also the Fallen Heroes Run and the Mayfair May Fair. The Fallen Heroes Run & Walk benefits the families of fallen police and firefighters. It's the best of causes. This year's Run honors Chuck Cassidy.

This year for the Mayfair May Fair, the Business Association is trying something different. They will concentrate all the activities around Cottman and Frankford, where the street will be closed off to traffic. There will be bands, stuff for the kids, crafters, and more! The Grey Lodge will be at there with Keg Bowling from noon to 4pm. There's a window between the Run and the May Fair, which would be perfect for brunch.

Draft Beer Update
Philadelphia Bitter Canadian IPeh? replaced Anchor Liberty Ale. This IPA seems to have what hopheads want, which is lots of hops at the back end.
