Hoagie has a full house upstairs for Quizzo. And a bunch of regulars are downstairs. It's a good night here at the G-Lodge. But then most every night is a good night.

Draft Beer Update

A few days early for Friday's Dogfish Head Shittel Load of Sixtels, a sixtel of Dogfish Head Immort Ale (sixtel) replaced Stillwater Stateside Saison. This was Dogfish Head's original barley wine. They kept Immort when they came out with their other barley wine, Old School Barley Wine. Immort has all sorts of crazy stuff going on. It's brewed with peat-smoked barley, organic juniper berries, vanilla  & maple syrup. If that ain't enough, it's aged on oak and fermented with a blend of English & Belgian yeasts.

A sixtel of Unibroue La Fin du Monde replaced the sixtel of Sam Adams New Albion Ale. We have bottles of New Albion, if you didn't get your fill. La Fin du Monde has a special place for me. It was the first beer that I identified by style without knowing what style it was. It is a Belgian style triple by the way. La Fin du Monde has been around since forever (at least as far as forever goes in the microbrew world). It's a classic.

Sixpoint Apollo Wheat replaced Wolavers Organic Wildflower Wheat. Apollo is a kristal wheat, which means it is filtered, unlike a traditional hefewiezen.
