Draft Beer Update

On our session beer line, Prism Summer of 69 replaced Goose Island Honkers Ale. This one is a pineapple pilsner sort of ale. If I recall correctly, that combo works together nicely.

Red Hook Winterhook replaced Heavy Seas Winter Storm. Red Hook has brewed Winterhook for about 30 years and every year they change the spices up.

On our lager line, Anchor Bock replaced Dominion Baltic Porter. Anchor is discontinuing Bock after this year. Anchor historically was part old school regional brewery and part modern craft brewery. Bocks, darker, somewhat stronger lagers, were a staple spring seasonal beer for US regional brewers for much of the 20th century. I remember Schmidts Bock. Yuengling just reintroduced a bock beer as a spring seasonal a couple of years ago. It looks like Anchor's new owners want more modern craft and less old school. That might not be a bad thing, but it is change. So catch this one while you can. Unlike the Terminator, Anchor Bock won't be back (but it will always be bock).

On our IPA line, Victory DirtWolf replaced Summit Saga IPA. DirtWolf is Victory's hyper-popular, somewhat new, double IPA. It won't last long. It never does.
