It has been a day of networking problems here but we are up to speed again. Sorry for an inconvenience that may have caused anyone.

Draft Beer Update

Boaks Abbey Brown replaced Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar. Boaks, out of North Jersey, makes some really amazing Belgian style abbey ales. This is one of them.

Manayunk Burton Ale replaced Bear Republic Red Rocket. Burton-on-Trent in England is a legendary brewing town. Their beers are/were justifiably famous because of the natural water content there. We can make Burton ales here in Philadelphia too. The trick is to treat the water. Manayunk's version is a much hoppier than the orginals but we suspect that will be a selling point.

Anchor Bock replaced itself. This is a great beer that is scheduled to be retired by Anchor. Enjoy it while you can.

Arcadia 17th Anniversary replaced 21st Amendment Saison. I forget what cute name their saison has and don't care enough to look it up. Arcadia's 17th Anniversary beer is a brown ale made with cherries and spices. It's really quite nice. It's like Mad Elf but at 1/2 the ABV, which appeals to me.

On our IPA line, Yards Rye kicked. Replacing it late Friday night was Cigar City Jai Alai IPA. But, no surprise, Jai Alai kicked within 24 hours. Now tapped is Old Forge Overbite IPA. This is a great IPA that can please even the most exacting hopheads.
