Draft Beer Update:

Troegs Sunshine Pils replaced Yards Saison. Troegs Sunshine Pils is just a darn good pilsner to enjoy while watching the Phils. Come to think of it, they are on tonight and tomorrow afternoon. So stop in have a pint or two.

Bells Oberon replaced Weyerbacher Blanche. Hey Anil, Bells Oberon is back. It is an American Wheat Ale with European ingredients. Oh so tasty.

Bells Cherry Stout replaced Troegs Java Head Stout. Bells Cherry Stout is a sweet stout with Michigan tart cherries added. Sweet, dark and tart.

Victory Scarlet Fire replaced Stone Oaked Arrogant Bastard. Victory Scarlet Fire is back on replacing what replaced it. It is a smokey beer if you like that sort of thing.

Woodchuck Summer Cider replaced Woodchuck Pear Cider. Woodchuck Summer Cider is a little different than any of their other ciders because of the tartness of the New England blueberries added to it.

Sierra Nevada Torpedo replaced itself again! Damn we keep turning these over.

8:30pm Update
Brooklyn Pennant Ale replaced Manayunk Red Rye. Brooklyn Pennant Ale has been around since forever, and we've been around like forever too, but I think it might be the first time we've had one on tap (in 15 years). Part of that is that Pennant is (or was) a summer seasonal, so it wasn't always around. The other reason is so many great Brooklyn beers show up here in Philly, Pennant sort of gets forgotten about, but not today. Pennant is an English style Pale Ale.

The first of our Firestone Walkers, a sixtel of Firestone Walker Double Jack Double IPA, replaced Stone Double Bastard. Firestone Walker is new to Philly. Everyone was going nuts over them last year at Great American Beer Fest, well now they are here. The Double Jack is only a sixtel, and it's a double IPA, so that means it won't last long. We also have a normal sized barrel of Firestone Walker Walkers Reserve Porter ready to go on.
