Heavy Seas Red Sky at Night replaced Dock Street Saison Petite. I haven't had this year's batch (been locked in the MGMT Bunker for hours and hours), but prior years batches have been really, really tasty. If history is any guide, we will not be disappointed.
Potential Methadone Clinic Update
The zoning hearing for the proposed for-profit methadone clinic at Frankford and Decatur is tomorrow. The neighborhood has been loudly against this.
If you are free tomorrow, how about getting on a bus and help really pack the zoning meeting with the voice of our community? Fred Moore, President of Holmesburg Civic had 20 seats left on the bus. His email is below:
About 20 seats total are available on the buses leaving Lincoln HS Ryan Ave parking lot at 11:45 tomorrow, Wed Aug 31 for the ZBA hearing at 1515 Arch St. Be there at 11:30 with photo ID. We should be back by 3 PM.
