Tapped:
Dogfish Head Black Lodge (sixtel) - this the first of Ben Potts Twin Peaks inspired beers. It's a smokey, piney stout. Tapped for Dogfish Head Black Lodge + White Lodge = Grey Lodge.
Dogfish Head White Lodge (sixtel) - this is the second. Since the Grey Lodge Pub's name was inspired from Twin Peaks oh so many years ago (16), Ben let me make some suggestions for White Lodge ingredients. I went to down to Rehobeth for the brew.
Dogfish Head Grey Lodge (sixtel) - this one is a blend of the White and Black Lodges. Ben is here (actually was here and will be back) as are the beers (which didn't leave). We have Twin Peaks inspired food (Butter and Brie Baguette, Cherry Pie, and Roasted Pine Weasel) and will have a Twin Peaks costume contest around 8pm.
Neshaminy Creek County Line IPA (sixtel) - one the area's newest breweries has an event with us tonight. We have three very different styles from them. They are here right now for the first event of the night, Neshaminy Creek Now Flowing.
Neshaminy Creek Mudbank Milk Stout (sixtel) - Beatle Tom is really digging this one. Jeremy, Neshaminy's Head Brewer, has a history of making great milk stouts.
Neshaminy Creek Tribute Belgian Tripel (sixtel) - a Belgian style from this new brewery.
Manayunk St. Alpha Belgian IPA - people have been noticing that Manayunk's beers are really good lately. This is due to their current head brewer Doug. Tonight we have three Belgian styles from Doug. This one is a Belgian IPA, which means it's an IPA brewed with funky Belgian yeast. This style sounds stupid, but the combo works. It really works. Belgium Comes From Manayunk is our third and final event of the evening.
Manayunk Grand Cru Flanders Red - this a Flemish sour style ale. Very tart but also fruity. I plan to drink many of these tonight.
Manayunk Monk from the Yunk - this is a Belgian style triple.
To make room for all those beers, we had to untap a few things.
Untapped and coming back:
Sly Fox Charles Bridge Pilsner
Southampton Keller Pils
Lancaster Gold Star Pilsner
Troegs Sunshine Pils
Victory Prima Pils
Sixpoint "Sehr Crisp" Pilsner
Sly Fox Standard Pilsner
Victory Braumeister Pils
Stoudts Pils
