We have one last Philly Beer Week event for 2012 and it's a goodin featuring Shawnee Craft. Everyone will be going crazy over Shawnee in about 2 years. You can check them out now, pre-craze. Cause that's how we do, here at the G-Lodge.

Double/Doppel/Dubbel Your Fun with Shawnee
Scoats and Lew stopped by Shawnee two years ago as part of their Philly Beer Week Upstate PA Beer Trek. Shawnee was making some incredible beers back then. They thought they were still a few years away from getting their barrels and yeast to where they wanted them to be. Well it's two years later.

When Scoats heard Shawnee was available for Philly Beer Week this year, he hopped on it.

Last minute beer switch. We were supposed to have their Doppelbock, but we won't. That sort of bones the name of the event but whacha gonna do? As a replacement we have their Apiarius, which is an English pale ale made with honey from their hives.
